Hi, I’m Thuy!
THUY LINH PHAM, LMFT #114805
Let’s get to know each other and build a strong therapeutic relationship as I support you in your goals.
A little about me…
My name is Thuy Linh Pham (twi lɪn fæm). I (she/her/hers) am a 1.5 generation Vietnamese-American living in San Diego, California. I am queer, femme, cisgendered, partnered, able-bodied, bilingual, and the eldest child of immigrant parents. I take care of myself by going to therapy, cooking, listening to music, cuddling with my dog, spending time with loved ones, and traveling. I value authenticity and bring that into my work as a therapist by fostering open and honest communication.
My Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach: I am a person-centered therapist. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and already have all the skills necessary for healing; my goal is to empower you to discover and use those strengths so that you can create the life that you want. I believe that a strong client-therapist relationship is fundamental in creating positive change. I work from a strength-based, trauma-informed, sex and body positive, culturally sensitive, feedback-informed treatment, and harm reduction lense.
I want you to feel confident in choosing me as your therapist.
When we work together, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can express yourself without fear of judgment. I am wholeheartedly committed to being fully present during our sessions, giving you my undivided attention, and prioritizing your needs. I am continuously working on myself by attending trainings and consulting with other professionals to make sure that I am honing my skills as a therapist and delivering the highest quality of care.
