Do you feel stuck?
Your anxiety and stress is keeping you up at night - overthinking, feeling restless and worried, distracting yourself with social media or binge-watching, tossing and turning, night sweats, and bad dreams. You wake up tired, irritated, and can’t concentrate.
You try to fake it till you make it - on the outside you’re successful, but underneath it all you feel like a failure and insecure. You strive for perfection because you’re scared of disappointing people. The pressure and high standards makes you feel like nothing is ever good enough. Despite all of this, you minimize your unhappiness and tell yourself that everything’s fine.
Your relationships aren’t where you want it to be - your people-pleasing tendencies make it hard to say “no.” You go with the crowd and struggle to speak up. After many failed dating attempts/relationships, you’re thinking of giving up or don’t know where to begin. You feel lonely, but it’s hard to reach out.
Something is holding you back - you feel stuck thinking and doing the same things, but you don’t know how to stop. You realize that what you do to cope isn’t healthy and you’re not healing. You’re too ashamed and scared to admit that you don’t feel in control.
This is a safe space for individuals of all identities, especially those in the AAPI and LGBTQIA+ community.
I’m here to help
I’m Thuy Linh Pham (twi lɪn fæm), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. When I went to therapy for the first time in my late teens, I thought it wasn’t for me because I didn’t feel connected to my therapist. I was also afraid of opening up. When I attempted therapy again in my mid twenties, the compassion I received helped me to confront just how much I was struggling. Therapy has helped me to face my fears and grow as a person, and I want to help you do the same. It takes courage to ask for help, and a strong client-therapist relationship to open up about the pain. Whether you know what you’re looking for or not - that’s okay. No matter where you are in your healing journey, we can work together to figure out where you want to be.
